It has been a wonderful few months at Turbo Productions.  Our Melbourne wedding videography services are evolving with a brand new package offering to suit any budget!

We were lucky enough to travel to Queenstown New Zealand for the wedding of Melissa and Peter two weeks ago.  This was a beautiful setting among the snow capped mountains that surround this stunning location.  We always love coming to Queenstown.  It seems that everyone is here to have a good time.  So many cultures blending together for the winter season, so much so – that you rarely hear a New Zealand accent.

The wedding started off at the Hilton hotel by the lake in Frankton (just outside of the Queenstown township).  This was a beautiful location, yet the rooms were tiny.  The bride and groom had adjoining rooms for their preparations which allowed for easy capturing of all wedding preparations within having to spend much time travelling between locations.  The groom was rather nervous…. Whilst the bride was soaking up the enjoyment of such a special day in her life - A day in which she had been dreaming about for a long time.

The ceremony location was at Stoneridge Estate.   Located about 15 minutes outside of Queenstown, but had a stunning view of the surrounding mountains – in particular, Coronet Peak ski field.  Wedding videography in Queenstown is always spectacular, but there was a cloud pattern that made this one even more stunning.

Melissa walked down the isle to meet Peter in the chapel for a stunning ceremony, with an intimate crowd of around 20 guests.  We used several cameras to capture the moment, with three GoPro cameras and a Canon EOS 5D MK3 as the main capturing camera.

Following the ceremony, Peter and Melissa took off for a helicopter photoshoot.  Taking them up to a local lookout point called ‘The Ledge’ – the photography had a stunning backdrop of snow capped mountains and the Queenstown township in the distance.

Upon returning to Stoneridge Estate, the bride and groom were glowing, having had an amazing experience capturing wedding photography in some extremely remote locations on’y accessible by helicopter.

The intimate crowd of their closest family and friends were waiting to welcome them in as husband and wife, champagne in hand.  It was a great night of partying, and an all round stunning day.
